Margaret Vernet,
President of Corporate Aviators, Inc. (CAI), founded the company in
1987 when she perceived a need in the aviation industry for
alternate staffing solutions for corporate fleets. With over
35 years in the aviation industry, Margaret has been at the
forefront of identifying changes in the staffing trends in the
industry and responding to the needs of corporate clients with the
ongoing expansion of a range of services provided by CAI. Her
experience as a vice president of a regional commuter airline, that
of a corporate flight attendant, and her diligence in exploring the
arena of aviation employment issues offer clients a perspective that
few others can replicate. A strong proponent of customer
protection and worker rights alike, Margaret spearheaded the
industry's first group health and wellness plan for temporary
workers.
Margaret is the author of several articles and has
served as contributor to the National Business Associations'
Employment Issues Working Group. In addition, as a seasoned
expert in the aviation staffing industry, she is regularly sought
out for interviews by trade journals, including Business &
Commercial Aviation's 2006 The Pros and Cons of Using Part-Time
Crews and Aviation International News' 2006 Independent Flight Crew
Draw More Scrutiny as well as the globally distributed October 2001
Time magazine article, A Choice Contract.
